Nectar Ease Manuka Honey Products
Public interest in the natural health giving properties of manuka honey is at an all time high, thanks to top level research into some extraordinary therapeutic properties that have stimulated clinical trials with patients suffering from a number of conditions. Nelson Honey & Marketing Ltd has a long history in the industry and has recently developed a new method by which the beneficial properties of bee venom (or apitoxins) may be delivered to the consumer. The use of bee sting therapy for arthritis is recorded as far back as Hippocrates and Galen (130 AD), and has gained widespread support in many countries. However, the very nature of bee-sting therapy has caused considerable discomfort for patients, as the application of stings over a period of time can be unpleasant. The use of honey as a carrier for oral use has recently been developed by Philip Cropp of Nelson Honey . The extraction and combining technique is so new that no controlled trial work has yet been completed, though a barrage of scientific studies are currently under way. The research is riding on the back of consumer demand fuelled by thousands of satisfied customers, who have enjoyed a boost in their enjoyment of life. Bee Venom contains a number of acvtive components. Please see our detailed Bee Venom Analysis. NectarEase has a number of therapeutic properties beneficial to sufferers of many conditions:Arthritis
Traditional treatments for arthritis rely heavily on a course of synthetic drugs, which range from the use of gold salts to anti-inflammatory drugs including both non-steroidal (ie, aspirin, ibuprofen, phenylbutazone) and steroidal (ie, cortisone, prednisone, dexamethasone). These drugs, especially the steroidal ones, have associated side effects which can have significant effects on the adrenal and pituitary glands, causing their functions to be gravely reduced. Other complications can include impotence, edema, poor wound healing, reduced immunological response, excessive hair growth and cardiac irregularities. The use of bee venom to treat arthritis has proven beneficial to many patients, primarily as the result of a number of peptides and amines. The actual functions are not clearly understood, but the compounds which are most likely to assist the healing qualities are melittin (strong anti-rheumatic), histamine (vasco-dilator), hyaluronidase (cell membrane permeator) and apamin (nerve transmission enhancer). Research has been conducted in Monmouth Pain, New Jersey on a group of 108 arthritic patients who failed to respond to traditional therapy. Bee venom was administered twice a week over a six week period and no serious side effects or complications were observed, with most subjects showing a marked improvement in their symptoms by the twelfth treatment. This study concluded that bee venom therapy is safe and effective as long as the patient is not allergic to venom. It must be noted that, while the apitherapists and bee keepers are optimistic and supportive of this new direction, the medical community remains sceptical towards what is often referred to as an alternative medicine. This seems strange when you consider that bee venom has been used in Chinese and Western therapy for possibly 4000 years, whereas many modern synthetic drugs have only been produced within the last 50 years. Multiple SclerosisAgain the raw scientific data is scratchy, but international studies are currently investigating the effects of bee venom on those afflicted by MS. It is thought that the active compounds in the venom break down the scar tissue that can form on the nerve sheaths as a result of an MS episode. Venom also appears to enhance synaptic transmission to increase motor activity. All these appear to improve the neuro-functions of the nervous system and reduce the debilitating symptoms of MS. Other benefitsThe introduction of bee venom into the circulatory system can be beneficial to sufferers of hypertension (high blood pressure) as blood is thinned and coagulability decreased. However, it is recommended that Nectar Ease is not taken in conjunction with any medication used in the control of hypertension. If in doubt consult your doctor or call us on our international phone (0064-3-522-4413). In general, stress on the circulatory system is reduced by the actions of bee venom, as well as an enhancement of the functions of the nerve and immune systems. These are beneficial to the well being of any consumer, regardless of their previous health situation. ReactionsUnfortunately, not everyone will benefit from the natural touch of NectarEase. A small proportion of people have had no beneficial reactions to the product, while an even smaller group have suffered adverse effects from ingesting NectarEase. Possible reactions are: skin rashes, localised swelling of joints, and in some cases vomiting and diarrhoea (all cases of the latter were on hypertension type medication). Some users may also experience an increase of pain for a short while before getting any improvement. Research has shown that the immune system suppression of these drugs is counteractive to the immune system enhancement by bee venom. This can result in a period of pain while the body adjusts its balance. For more details on us and all our products please visit our online shop. |
